Laura Obiols

Laura Obiols brings her extensive experience in healthcare consulting, academia and government organisations. She combines this with true creative flair to deliver both primary and secondary research for groupH.

Laura is a Pharmacist with considerable experience in the field of healthcare research, working with clients across the US, Europe and emerging markets. She has worked as Research Director at the School of Pharmacy, London, as Professional Development Specialist at the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain, as Research Lead at the European Commission in Brussels and as Research Associate for leading healthcare organisations.

Actively involved in clinical and health policy decisions at national, European and global level in recent years, the model she developed in her PhD at the School of Pharmacy, University of London defined the role of pharmacists in Europe to help ensure that patients receive a consistent standard of care and to enable transferability across organisations. This model has been adopted across the EU and subsequently in Australia, New Zealand and China.

Laura successfully juggles her work at groupH with a career as a dancer. She has worked under the direction of leading choreographers such as Wayne McGregor and Anh Ngoc Nguyen, performing at many of London’s most prestigious venues. She also loves cycling around London, playing the piano, travelling, practising yoga, rock climbing & painting.
