Moving to the market research and consulting world after several years in scientific academic laboratories in both the UK and US, Michael has applied his research and analytic skills to many therapeutic areas, enjoying the different challenges of each new project.
A Ph.D. in Neuroscience from University College London led to a postdoctoral fellowship in New York City where he has now settled. Since moving from academia to business he has helped clients mainly in the early stage planning for life science clients in areas including CNS, infection and oncology.
Enjoying the teamwork involved in helping clients make decisions and solving business problems, Michael enjoys both looking for and interpreting the scientific data and the opinion of local physicians and experts in the field, to inform and aid in solving complex business decisions
Michael’s passion outside work is rugby. He played for as long as his body would allow and met his wife through the sport as well as many lifelong friends. He continues to play a role in building the sport in the United States as the head coach of the Village Lions RFC women’s team in New York City.
